This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to uncover global research trends in IoB, highlighting its evolution, key themes, and emerging areas of interest. The analysis, based on publications from 2001 to 2024, reveals the central role of technological advancements such as artificial intelligence and IoT in driving IoB research. Key applications include personalized marketing, healthcare optimization, and smart city development, while ethical and privacy concerns remain critical challenges. India is identified as a leading contributor and global hub for IoB research, with significant international collaborations. Despite its rapid growth, gaps exist in understanding the long-term societal impacts of IoB and its applicability in underrepresented regions. This study emphasizes the need for interdisciplinary research, ethical governance, and inclusive collaboration to maximize IoB's potential for innovation and societal benefit.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Loso Judijanto, Husaini Husaini, Fauzi Fauzi, Legito Legito, Siti Agus Kartini https://esj.eastasouth-institute.com/index.php/esiscs/article/view/399 BRICS in the Digital Age: Investigating Technological Innovation and Knowledge Sharing as Catalysts for Economic Transformation 2024-12-30T06:06:35+00:00 Haryono Haryono haryono@ubhara.ac.id
The digital age presents unparalleled opportunities for economic transformation, particularly for emerging economies like BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa). This study investigates the role of technological innovation and knowledge sharing as catalysts for economic development through a normative juridical analysis of legal frameworks. The findings reveal significant disparities in intellectual property laws, data governance policies, and innovation ecosystems among BRICS nations, hindering seamless collaboration. The study emphasizes the need for harmonized juridical mechanisms to address challenges such as digital inequality, cybersecurity threats, and geopolitical tensions. By proposing unified intellectual property agreements, standardized data governance policies, and joint R&D programs, the research offers actionable insights into fostering innovation and collaboration for sustainable economic transformation in the digital era.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Haryono Haryono https://esj.eastasouth-institute.com/index.php/esiscs/article/view/382 Trends in Digital Twin Technology for Industry 4.0: A Bibliometric Study 2024-12-16T03:20:21+00:00 Loso Judijanto losojudijantobumn@gmail.com Laila Qadriah laila_qadriah@unigha.ac.id Iwan Ady Prabowo iwanadyp@gmail.com Widyatmoko Widyatmoko atmoko.widy06@gmail.com Puji Chairu Sabila pujichairusabilaa@gmail.com
Digital Twin (DT) technology has emerged as a critical enabler of Industry 4.0, bridging the physical and digital worlds through real-time data integration, simulation, and optimization. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to explore the research trends, key contributors, and thematic clusters in DT research over the past decade. The analysis reveals China's leading role in DT research, supported by strong international collaborations with the United States, Germany, and other countries. Key themes include technological enablers such as IoT, sensors, and infrastructure, as well as emerging applications in sustainability, smart cities, and energy systems. Challenges such as risks, uncertainties, and feasibility constraints remain significant barriers to DT adoption, highlighting the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and standardization efforts. The study identifies opportunities for integrating DT with technologies like blockchain and AI, as well as expanding applications in healthcare and agriculture. These findings provide valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to advance DT technology and its transformative potential in Industry 4.0.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Loso Judijanto, Laila Qadriah, Iwan Ady Prabowo, Widyatmoko Widyatmoko, Puji Chairu Sabila https://esj.eastasouth-institute.com/index.php/esiscs/article/view/380 The Role of Anonymous Data in Promoting Consumer Loyalty on E-commerce Platforms in Indonesia 2024-12-16T03:18:28+00:00 Loso Judijanto losojudijantobumn@gmail.com Sayed Achmady sayedachmady@unigha.ac.id I Wayan Karang Utama karang_utama@stikom-bali.ac.id Femmy Effendy femmy@rosma.ac.id Puji Chairu Sabila pujichairusabilaa@gmail.com
This study investigates the role of anonymous data in driving consumer loyalty on e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach, data was collected from 60 respondents through a structured questionnaire using a Likert scale (1-5). Statistical analysis using SPSS version 25 reveals a significant positive relationship between anonymous data utilization and consumer loyalty. Anonymous data enables personalized recommendations and targeted promotions while maintaining consumer privacy, fostering trust and engagement. The study highlights the importance of ethical data practices in the Indonesian e-commerce landscape and provides actionable insights for businesses aiming to enhance customer retention. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Loso Judijanto, Sayed Achmady, I Wayan Karang Utama, Femmy Effendy, Puji Chairu Sabila https://esj.eastasouth-institute.com/index.php/esiscs/article/view/370 Identification of the Application of Vegetation Elements in the Biophilic and Comfort Concept in the Lobby, Dining Room & Public Space of Greenhost Hotel, Prawirotaman, Yogyakarta 2024-12-16T03:17:40+00:00 Fathi Khalidi Achmad fathikhalidi1@students.undip.ac.id Siti Rukayah sitirukayah.tutut@gmail.com
The abstract says, In modern cities, the built environment becomes oppressive; Urban spaces are almost unlivable in fact in cities more and more blighted due to design fads and industrialist buildings. Biophilic Design can reduce stress, increase creativity, clarity of thought and improve our well-being, and speed healing. The priorities of Biophilic Architecture are Natural Patterns in Space, Natural Analogy Patterns, and Natural Space Patterns. Yogyakarta has a large number of visitors attending the tourism sector in the Patrioman area, visitors often look for places such as accommodation, cafes, restaurants, and entertainment centers of socialize and relax to create significant business opportunities. Research objectives, some of the results of research that have been carried out with the Biophilic concept are taken, the aim of the research is as an alternative solution to create a healing environment by optimizing architectural design concepts to respond to the health, cognitive, psychosocial and psychological health of hotel users. The impression of this building is extensive on spatial vegetation by arranging the placement of mass, treating the space and mass of space with hiqh quality towards the natural environment, and using materials both inside and out as well as an appearance with a natural appearance to create positive response. This research hopes to be implemented in Greenhost Yogyakarta with a biophilic standardization of spaces in Greenhost Yogyakarta is mostly the application of the Biophilic design model which has been recommended by the fourteen Biophilic design models.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Fathi Khalidi Achmad, Siti Rukayah https://esj.eastasouth-institute.com/index.php/esiscs/article/view/381 Bibliometric Analysis of Data-Driven Decision Making in Business Intelligence 2024-12-16T03:19:19+00:00 Loso Judijanto losojudijantobumn@gmail.com I Putu Dody Suarnatha iputudodysuarnatha@gmail.com Arnes Yuli Vandika arnes@ubl.ac.id Femmy Effendy femmy@rosma.ac.id Dikwan Moeis dikwan_moeis@stmikprofesional.ac.id
This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to explore the research landscape of data-driven decision-making (DDDM) in Business Intelligence (BI).
