Articles in Press are peer-reviewed and accepted manuscripts that are awaiting formal publication in a specific volume and issue of the journal. Once the final version is published, the in-press version will be replaced by the official version in the respective volume/issue. The original online publication date will remain unchanged.

Please note that although these articles may not yet include complete bibliographic information, they can still be cited using the year of online publication and their DOI, formatted as follows: author(s), article title, journal name (year), DOI. Refer to the journal’s reference style for proper formatting, journal name abbreviations, and punctuation.

Types of Articles in Press

  1. Journal pre-proofs: These are accepted articles that have been enhanced for early viewing — including the addition of metadata and formatting — but are not yet final. They will undergo further copyediting, typesetting, and review before formal publication. Please note that errors may still be present, and all journal disclaimers apply.
  2. Uncorrected proofs: These versions have been copyedited and typeset but are still awaiting author review. They may undergo further corrections, and the content is not considered final.
  3. Corrected proofs: These articles include the authors’ revisions after proofreading. Final citation details (such as volume, issue, year, and page numbers) are not yet assigned, and minor changes to the text may still occur before official publication.
