ESEE aims to publish articles in the field of Microeconomics and macroeconomics, International trade and international finance, Economic development, Economic policy and regulation, Natural resource economics, Financial and monetary economics, Entrepreneurship and innovation, Business planning and strategy. ESEE accepts manuscripts of both quantitative and qualitative research. ESEE publishes papers: 1) review papers, 2) basic research papers, and 3) case study papers.

ESEE has been indexed in, Crossref, and others indexing.
